Six reasons it is worth the trip
The showroom exists because sample chips and screenshots make people choose the wrong stone. Everything here is at the size and the light level you will meet it at home.
Four lighting rigs
The same four scenes we wire into your room, running over the material wall. Choose a stone at 2400K if that is when you will look at it.
A working wet zone
A built wet-room corner with a linear drain, a real bench and three glass options, so you can stand in the thing you are buying.
Millwork in the flesh
Drawer boxes, soft-close runners, sprayed finishes and a recessed mirror cabinet you can open, from the shop that will build yours.
Your plan on the table
Bring measurements or a floor plan and we will sketch two layouts while you are here. No charge, no obligation to continue.
No sales pitch
Forty-five minutes, one designer, no follow-up call unless you ask for one. We will tell you honestly if we are the wrong firm.

The material library
A quarter of what is on the wall
Four of the eight core materials. The other four, plus the lighting rigs and the wet-room corner, are only useful in person.
Onyx
Honey onyx
Translucent, banded and unrepeatable. Backlit from a ventilated cavity it becomes the only light source a room needs at night.
Never underfoot. Onyx is soft and it will scratch in traffic.
Marble
Nero Marquina
Dense black marble with sharp white veining. Honed, it grounds a dark room without turning it into a mirror.
Seal it and keep acidic cleaners away from it. Etching shows quickly on polished black.
Marble
Calacatta Viola
Plum and rust veining across a warm white field. The one marble that reads as jewellery rather than as stone.
Buy the whole block. Matching a second slab later is effectively impossible.
Quartzite
Taj Mahal quartzite
Warm cream with soft movement, and far harder than it looks. Our default when a client wants marble but lives like marble is a bad idea.
The practical choice. It takes daily abuse far better than any marble.

Showroom questions
Five practical things worth knowing before you get in the car.
Yes. The showroom is by appointment only so the designer you meet has read your enquiry and pulled the relevant slabs before you arrive. Walk-ins will find the door locked.
Forty-five minutes is typical. Selection appointments for a live project usually run to ninety minutes, and slab yard mornings take about three hours.
Please do. About a third of our projects come in with drawings already, and the visit is far more useful when the person who drew them is in the room.
There is metered street parking on Wells and a garage one block north on Hubbard. Tell us when you book and we will hold a spot in the building's visitor bay when one is free.
No. The visit is free whether or not you go on to work with us.
