High-rise bathrooms come with a hard constraint: we generally cannot cut the slab. That rules out recessed pans and means curbless entries are achieved by raising the bathroom floor instead.
Building rules are strict and worth respecting. Work hours, elevator reservations, hallway protection, insurance certificates and noise windows all get agreed with management before the first day.
Loft conversions in the old warehouse stock are a different problem: high ceilings, exposed structure and bathrooms that were inserted as boxes. Those give us room for dramatic full-height stone.
